An update for the Mining Machines program has been released.
The new improved Mineworks software is not only a mining equipment database, but mainly - the ability to perform mining-engineering calculations in the mining industry.
It is possible to get an access through the ‘Calculations menu’ to forms with various calculation functions that are implemented in Mineworks program.
The program provides the ability to perform the following functions:
• powered support check
• determination of the mining combine service velocity
• dragconveyer check
• calculation of the planogram of works in the longwall face
• checking calculation of extensible belt conveyer
• calculation of methane content and thermal balance in the stope and preparatory mine workings
The principle of work with all forms is the same for all calculations and consists in entering the source data and clicking the ‘Calculate’ button. After that the calculations result is displayed, the ‘Save’ button becomes active and, for some calculations, various graphs are displayed.
